I have a room with angled walls and I'm trying to add some double doors. I can add a door, but it wants to snap to grid and I can't center it where it needs to go. Is there a way to shut off snap to grid on doors? SHIFT doesn't seem to do it.
Hi @Dracarius !
Do you have the snap to grid switch en-, or disabled?
When you've selected the door you want to place, you can find a number of setting switches on the very bottom of the inspector. The very last switch there is the snap to grid option.
You might have this enabled
I actually have that disabled, but the system seems like it's working as snap to grid. I'm just very perplexed by this.
Hmm very strange in deed. I believe what comes into play here is the fact that doors can't be placed too close to corners, because it'd do weird stuff with the rendering and would look strange.
Maybe try turning off the "Cutout in wall" setting.
